V\u00e9lofocus, Sean Robinson)<\/em> \u00a0 Il team Al\u00e9 BTC Ljubljana<\/strong><\/em> ha messo a segno un importante colpo di mercato per la stagione 2021: dalla Svizzera arriver\u00e0 la vice campionessa del mondo a cronometro Marlen Reusser<\/strong>, 29 anni.
Si tratta di un\u2019atleta di altissimo livello che negli ultimi due anni si \u00e8 ritagliata un ruolo di primissimo piano nel panorama internazionale, specie nelle prove contro il tempo.

In questa pur breve stagione 2020 \u00e8 riuscita a conquistare la medaglia d\u2019argento ai Mondiali a cronometro ad Imola, la medaglia di bronzo all\u2019Europeo a cronometro e la medaglia d\u2019argento con la Svizzera nel Team Relay a Plouay, inoltre \u00e8 anche campionessa nazionale crono. Nel 2019 aveva vinto il titolo nazionale svizzero sia su strada che a cronometro e aveva anche conquistato la medaglia d\u2019oro nella prova a cronometro dei Giochi Europei di Minsk.

Dopo le precedenti esperienze con WCC Team e con \u00c8quipe Paule Ka, Marlen Reusser <\/strong>affronta uno step importante per la sua carriera e scegli di farlo con Al\u00e9 BTC Ljubljana per differenti ragioni: \u201cLa prima \u00e8 che ho sempre ammirato questo team, ho sempre trovato che ci fosse una bella atmosfera, il modo corretto di vivere questo sport e amo l\u2019attitudine italiana di affrontare la vita e lo sport e poi mi piacerebbe imparare anche l\u2019italiano. L\u2019altra cosa che mi \u00e8 piaciuta molto e che a capo della squadra ci sia Alessia Piccolo, una donna forte che ha dato un impulso importante a tutto il mondo del ciclismo femminile e al suo team e mi trovo allineata con la loro filosofia. Mi piace il management, abbiamo parlato molto e mi ritrovo con le loro idee e sono contenta di poter inseguire nuovi obiettivi insieme a loro\u201d<\/em>.

Per quanto riguarda le aspettative per la prossima stagione Marlen Reusser ha spiegato: \u201cSicuramente il mio focus sar\u00e0 centrato sui pi\u00f9 importanti appuntamenti a cronometro come Europei, Mondiali e Olimpiadi dove credo di poter ambire ad una medaglia. Poi ci tengo molto a migliorare le mie attitudini anche nelle gare su strada e provare a raccogliere qualche buon risultato. Per questo potr\u00f2 imparare molto dalle atlete pi\u00f9 esperte del team come Marta Bastianelli\u201d<\/em>.

Il team manager Fortunato Lacquaniti<\/strong> ha commentato: \u201cL\u2019ingaggio di Marlen \u00e8 un rinforzo molto importante per la nostra squadra. Parliamo di un\u2019atleta top che nella specialit\u00e0 della cronometro \u00e8 una delle migliori al mondo. Lo ha dimostrato ancora agli ultimi Mondiali arrivando a soli 15 secondi dalla Van der Breggen. L\u2019avevamo scoperta gi\u00e0 lo scorso anno, ancora prima che vincesse i Giochi Europei a Minsk, ci eravamo parlati e c\u2019era stata un\u2019intesa che si concretizza ora e siamo felici di poter lavorare insieme e poterla aiutare in questa fase importante della sua carriera\u201d.<\/em>

\u00a0 \u00a0 Al\u00e9 BTC Ljubljana: in 2021 Marlen Reusser, the silver medalist of the TT World Championship, will arrive \u00a0 The Al\u00e9 BTC Ljubljana<\/strong><\/em> team has achieved a major market breakthrough for the 2021 season: 29-year-old runner-up Time Trial World Champion Marlen Reusser<\/strong> will arrive from Switzerland.
She is a top-level rider who has carved out a leading role for herself on the international scene over the past two years, especially in time trial races.
In the short 2020 season she won the silver medal at the ITT World Championships in Imola, the bronze medal at the ITT European Championships and the silver medal with Switzerland in the Team Relay in Plouay, and is also ITT national champion. In 2019 she won the Swiss national title in both road and time trial and also won the gold medal in the individual time trial at the European Games in Minsk.

After her previous experiences with WCC Team and \u00c8quipe Paule Ka, Marlen Reusser takes an important step in her career and chooses to do this with Al\u00e9 BTC Ljubljana for several reasons: „The first is that I have always admired this team, I always found there was a nice atmosphere, the right way to live this sport and I love the Italian attitude to life and sport and then I would also like to learn Italian. The other thing I really liked was that the team is led by Alessia Piccolo, a strong woman who has given an important impulse to the whole world of women’s cycling and her team and I find myself aligned with their philosophy. I like the management, we have talked a lot and I find myself with their ideas and I am happy to be able to pursue new goals together with them“<\/em>.

As for the expectations for next season Marlen Reusser explained: „My focus will certainly be on the most important time trial events such as the European Championships, World Championships and Olympics Games where I think I can aspire to a medal. I also want to improve my skills in road races and try to get some good results. For this I will be able to learn a lot from the most experienced riders of the new team like Marta Bastianelli“<\/em>.

Team manager Fortunato Lacquaniti<\/strong> commented: „Marlen’s recruitment is a very important reinforcement for our team. We are talking about a top rider who is one of the best in the world in the time trial specialty. She proved it again at the last ITT World Championships, coming within 15 seconds of Van der Breggen. <\/em>We had already discovered her last year, even before she won the European Games in Minsk, we had talked to each other and there was an understanding that is happening now and we are happy to be able to work together and help her in this important phase of her career\u201d.
